Ingredients Needed

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pistachios, chopped
  • Sea salt flakes for sprinkling

Preparation Steps

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until well combined. Add vanilla extract and salted caramel sauce to the wet mixture.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped pistachios. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and divide the dough into two equal parts. Shape each into a log about 12 inches long.

Bake the logs for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Using a serrated knife, slice the logs diagonally into 1/2-inch thick biscotti.

Return the sliced biscotti to the baking sheet, cut side down, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt flakes while still warm. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Serving Suggestions
